This README.TXT is intended for the ClientWORKS user.
Its purpose is to provide additional product information and
corrections to the user documentation.


Problem
-------

In some limited circumstances, ClientWORKS will fail with a general
protection fault from WINSOCK.VXD.  The SecureC.exe contained in 
this kit fixes the problem.  

Solution
--------

Replace the SecureC.exe file in the ClientWORKS installation 
directory, normally C:\ClientWORKS\livelink\bin\SecureC.exe, 
by the SecureC.exe in this kit.  If you installed ClientWORKS 
in a different location, the file will be in the 
\livelink\bin tree in that location.
