Problem Description:

 Instructions for ODI32 Novell IntranetWare Client 32 v2.20 driver
 installation on Digital Semiconductor 2114x chipset based systems.

Solution:

 1. Create IntranetWare Client 32 v2.20 disketts from Novell Web
 provided distribution.

 2. Download and unzip the 000000BQ.ZIP from the NTSBU web
 page (http://pcbu.mro.dec.com/FtpFiles/000000BQ.ZIP). This file
 contains:

 a. DC21x4.INF -- DC21143 information file
 b. DC21x4.LAN -- DC21143 ODI32 driver
 c. NWSETUP.INI -- Novell setup .INF file - this file has been
 modified to remove all adapters except Digital DC21143 on-board.
 d. 0readme.txt -- instructions for installing 3rd party LAN drivers
 e. 1readme.txt -- this file

 3. Copy the files DC21x4.INF and NWSETUP.INI to the
 InterNetWare Client 32 installation Diskette 1 (labeled SETUP_1)
 and DC21x4.LAN to the sixth diskette (labeled LANDRV_1) of the
 IntranetWare Client 32 kit. You will need to rename or delete the
 existing compressed version of the same files (the extension will
 have an underscore as the last character).

 ex: there exists a file called DC21x4.IN_ on Diskette 1, this is the
 file that you should replace (it's compressed) with DC21x4.INF.

 4. Proceed with the IntranetWare Client 32 installation by runnig
 SETUP.EXE from the first diskette (SETUP_1) of the set. 

 5. From the IntraNetware Installation Wizzard select "Custom"
 installation. Click "Next".

 6. Check the box "Upgrade NDIS driver to ODI automatically" at the
 bottom of the installation screen, click "Install".

 7. Follow the installation instructions.

Comments:

 Be aware that sometimes during the installation a Blue Screen Error
 may appear. Do not worry, just insert the required diskette into the
 floppy drive and press return key.
