The Pentium processor, Intel's first 64-bit design, runs 
existing DOS and Windows applications much faster than 486 
processors, and is the platform for high-performance software 
of the future, including Microsoft Windows NT*. It greatly 
improves the speed of the PC for advanced graphics and 
scientific applications, multi-user server configurations, and 
processing speech, images, and other real-world data.
