Instructions for installation of SCO UNIX LLI driver

Driver Revision:        v2.0.0a
Specification Revision: LLI Version 3.1 Revision 2

Software Requirements:

        SCO UNIX System V/386 Release 3.2v4.2, or later
        SCO Open Desktop 3.0

Hardware Requirements:

        One or more (up to 8) of the following adapters -

                DEC FDDIcontroller/EISA (All models and revisions)
                DEC FDDIcontroller/PCI  (All models and revisions)

To install the driver:

        1. Copy fplli200.dd file to your local UNIX drive.
        2. Enter the following command to transfer the kit onto a UNIX
           formatted 3 1/2" floppy:

                # dd if=fplli200.dd of=/dev/rfd0135ds18 bs=18k

        3. Run the custom(ADM) utility to install the driver off the newly
           created UNIX driver floppy.
        4. Run the netconfig(ADM) utility for each adapter to be configured
           into the system.

To extract driver release notes:

Enter the following commands to extract the driver release notes from 
the UNIX formatted floppy and display them:

        # cd /
        # tar xvf /dev/rfd0 ./usr/lib/dfx/rel_inst.notes
        # cd /usr/lib/dfx
        # more rel_inst.notes

The driver release notes file contains additional installation and
configuration information for this driver.
