Title: DECbrouter90 V10.2 "KnowledgeSet" Documentation CDROM missing DOS file Product: DECbrouter90 V10.2 Problem: I am unable to get the CDROM which shipped with my V10.2 DECbrouter90 working on my MS-DOS platform; it complains about a "missing file". Solution: The DECbrouter90 has been shipping with a KnowledgeSet CDROM documentation kit since June of 95. This documentation kit has a problem when it is used on a MS Windows 3.1 system. This problem does not affect customers who received the Cisco UniversCD with the DECbrouter90 prior to June of 95. The details are as follows: The documentation installs fine. When you click on the "DECbrouter 90 Documentation" icon, you get a dialog box with File Error Cannot find CTL3D32.DLL Upon closing this box, you get another dialog box with Error Unable to run Krswin. In order for the DECbrouter 90 documentation to run under MS Windows 3.1, the system requires the Win 32s extension. The DECbrouter documentation installation program installs the necessary files on any Windows 3.1 PC that does not already contain the Win 32s extension. One file, ctl3d32.dll, is missing from the Installation CD. You must copy this file to c:\windows\system\. Once the file is copied, the documentation will be viewable on the Windows platform.
