Installing RH6.1 on SA431 is not supported, but we (Chris Knapp and Richard Black) made it work since we have seen a number of people wanting to do this.
You will need the following:
The instructions to make it happen: rh61smart431.txt
The disk necessary to use with the instructions: array_img.gz
Rawrite if you need it, it's also on the cd in /dosutils: rawrite.zip
