Your help would be appreciated
We are moving some administrative applications from VMS to OSF/1.
I took possession of an alphaserver 1000 4/200 OSF/1 machine with 2 x 2.0
Gb disks. For performance considerations DEC's Advanced File Systems was
enabled on SOME portion of the disks.
When using polycenter networker save & restore I am unable to backup the
AFS portion (split into 3 user domains) in one pass. I have to backup each
user domain separately as after I have selected one domain I am unable to
attach another one to the same backup. I get a message that it is using a
different file system and cannot be backed up at the same time.
I would appreciate your comments since I can't imagine having to do multiple
backups for the same disk(s) all the time when I think one should suffice.
Hopefully there is a way !
