I need some suggestions.  Price does play a factor here.
We will be getting an AlphaStation 200 4/233 to replace a DECstation 5000
Model 240.  The DECstation has 32 Mb of memory.  We currently support about
1200 user accounts.  We normally have about 10 to 20 users logged in.  I
have seen a max of about 30 or so.  The new AlphaStation will come with 32
Mb of memory.  I know this is not enough.  The current dilemma is how far to
go.  I don't feel that 64 Mb will be enough either.  I would like to go to
96 or 128 Mb.  Does anyone have any feel or experience for what I should
consider?  The AlphaStation itself will sit in a "computer" room with no
real use of the console/monitor.  I will probably have root logged in there
just for some monitoring purposes.  TIA.
