We have an application using Dynamic Concepts "UniBasic" language
(i.e., Basic on Unix). We have a need to open an IP connection (via
IP address and pre-assigned port number) to a remote app, send one
record, and receive a simply reply.
Not being a C programmer, I've been trying to figure out how to do
this via control of a Unix utility from within UniBasic, or by
generating a script in real-time and passing the script to some
utility to run (or be run by).
So far no luck. Any suggestions?
