Hi,
DU3.2c with C2 Security & NIS, when using XSysAdmin to create groups has
anyone found that the passwd field of the /var/yp/src/group file is left
empty ie group:<null>: rather than group:*: . Then when you go to use XIsso
to add the group as a secondary group to a user XIsso accepts the group as
selected but does not save the user against the group in the group file on
completion of XIsso.
It seems that you need to manually add the * into the group passwd entry
before using the XIsso to add the group to a user?
Has anyone experienced the same thing or better still a neat workaround?
