Tim has the wiring in this configuration and his works:
1 --- 7 |
2 --- 8 | one pair
3 --- 5
4 --- 6
5 --- 3
6 --- 4
7 --- 1 |
8 --- 2 | one pair
Troy and Matt sugested not swapping any wires.
I tried with out swapping and the hub just ignored the cable. I tried
connecting it like 10BaseT and got nothing. I'm going to go back to
Tim's wiring and play with fddi_config and the hub's config. I'm
running the hub in single attachment mode and plugging into the 'M'
port.
