hi
I would like to change the default digital logo with
some fancy images in my servers running DU2.0 and xdm
I produced the xbm files of the images and set
dxlogin.bitmapFile: myimage.xbm
dxlogin.bitmapMaskFile: myimage.xbm
in my Xresources file ( /usr/lib/X11/xdm directory )
and restarted xdm. the system displayed default digital
logo again. rebooting didn't help.
what's that i am missing?
moreover i understand dxlogin.bitmapFile field in the
Xresources file but not dxlogin.bitMaskFile. why does
one need that?
