We want to use bootp to provide pc's on our network with an IP address
whenever they request a TCP/IP session.
If I understand correctly, bootp will do this, but that's about all I
know about it.
I have read the man page and activated bootp and tftpd in the inetd.conf
file, but I can't make it work. I think my main problem is the format
and content of the bootptab file. (Although I could be doing something
stupid)
Is there anyone out there who has done this that would be willing to
share their experience?
