Once again this list proves it's worth. The problems I had with majordomo
were due to a broken version of Perl. I appears that Perl5.001m is the
miniumum needed to make majordomo happy (unless you want to use version
4.036). I downloaded Perl5.002 and installed it. After setting
/usr/local/bin/perl to globally executable (which make install didn't do for
some reason), everything worked well.
