striping Q

Hello people,

As you may recall, I have had a problem with i/o on our dec alpha (600
5/266). To solve the problem, I will buy two identical disks and use
disk striping. I would like some recommendations for:
        1. make/brand of hard drive (ca. 4 GB)
        2. a controller (or should I get another one at all?)
