Hi group
I have a problem that needs to be solved. I was installing a print spooler
software on my ALPHA 2100 when I ran into an error stating that it was
looking for a file called libsys5.so
When I did a find it found it on /usr/shlib/libsys5.so which is linked
to ../opt/s5/usr/shlib/libsys5.so when I went to look in the /opt
directory on my system it was totally blank. there was no other files so the
loading of the software bombed. I called the software vendor and he
suggested that I contact digital because he said it sounded like something
was missing on the DEC side.
Has anyone ever run into an error like this before?And if so how did you
solve it?
