We are trying to configure our machines to only allow up to three
failures per login, rather than the default of five. Once those three
failures are done then an account will be automatically disabled. I
have looked at this and can't find the answer anywhere and suspect the
solution is in telnetd source code. If anyone knows a better way, let
me know.
We also would like to have banners shown when someone telnets in to a
machine. The banner would be shown before the login prompt is given.
Is there a way to do this?
