Location of password/etc files

     We are running an Alpha 2100 4/275 with DU 3.2 with Enhanced Security
     enabled (C2) -- we have noticed that there was a change such as the
     entries in the /etc/passwd is not in use anymore -- so I am curious
     where the password files are stored as we would like to run some tests
     on our password file (e.g. crack to find easily-guessable passwords,
     and so forth).
