I am very sorry , if I did not made myself clear in my previous post.
IOf course I know that port 25 is sendmail... what I was trying to say
was that I would like to know if there is any way I could restrict the
telnet access to this port. As you may know anyone can telnet to port 25
and from there sending messages to anybody with fake adressof the sender.
So you may one day wake up and see a message in your mail box saying:
hello nice machine you have, but it is not very secure ....
what would you think when you find something like this?
So Iam trying to prevent this from happening...
any suggestions are appreciated.
