In a message that I posted to this list several days ago, I asked
how to configure the sound card on an AU433 workstation so that
it will work with the MME package. I received replies from two
people, both said that as it is now the MME will not work with
the sound card on AU433:

In fact, Tom (tbk_at_zk3.dec.com) had several email exchanges with me
and all are very helpful.
I apologize for the delay, since I hoped that somebody might tell me
a workable solution.
