Sorry to bother you all once again, but now I have yet another
question on the topic of the v4.0c CD. And this one may need
the expertise of Tom Blinn, or someone equally savvy ...
Suppose that I use the v4.0c CD to do a fresh installation on
something other than an au-series PW, so v4.0b gets installed.
Now I want to install the latest ftp.service.digital.com patch
kit.
Do I use the 4.0b patch kit (v4.0b/duv40bas00004-19970808.tar),
since the system itself is really v4.0b? Or should I be using
the 4.0c patch kit (v4.0c/duv40cas00001-19970603.tar) since the
installation was done from a 4.0c CD?
