SUMMARY - returning to x windows

I posted a message yesterday about the system console no longer running
x-windows. The solution
        cd /usr/lib/X11/xdm. Look at xdm-errors (we still don't know cause).
        /sbin/init.d/xdm stop
        /sbin/init.d/xdm start
