TELNET PROBLEM!

     Hello!
     
     We have a DEC ALPHA 2100 running Digital Unix 3.2C. The server comes
     up fine. If you try to telnet to the server from another location, it
     connects fine.
     
     
     But, it takes another 5 minutes for the login: prompt to show up.
     
     Any suggestions, what could be wrong? I did rebuilt the kernel..
