Hello folks...
We've just found that out backup tapes give a error when reading a
block from our
(full) backup tapes. BAD news... details are:
Backups done via SAP's BRbackup which calls cpio -> NSR to perform a
DB backup
   of tables.
This table is 4 Gig exactly (SAP uses cpio)
The same error is seen on all three of out backups, same table, same
point.

No errors were seen in the BRbackup logs, error shows up during
restore.
_______________
  - Could cpio have a problem with > 4gig files
  - If it is data corruption, in the table, how come it wasn't seen
during backup.
NOTE: The database and files were fine before this full restore
attempt.
                (were in stress test,  test->restore->test->restore
etc........)
Config:
  DU 4.0b SAP 3.1g Oracle 7.2.3 NSR 4.3
