hello
we have a problem with lat. our setup consists of a few
alphaworkstation 500/333 running DUNIX 4.0b, alphaserver 2100 running
OpenVMS, Digital Microvax running VAX/VMS, Digital VAX 11/750 running
VAX/VMS. we have a Geolan 500 10/100 Mbps switch for network
connectivity. all the systems are configured to 10mbps only. most of the
users have alphaworkstation-unix 4.0b and connect to the openvms and
vax/vmx systems using llogin. latsetup has be run and enough number of
ttys have been created on the dunix boxes. users are able to connect to
the vms systems and start working but after sometime the session gets
disconnected or the terminal hangs. this happens very often and we r
having a lot of problems. invariably we have to restart latcp after this
occurs, sometimes llogin starts working after a time gap without
restarting latcp.
