cycle counter

Hi, There,

I don't think this is the appropriate place to ask such a question, but
i failed to find a seemed useful newsgroup. Would someone kindly point
me a more suitable place or tell me how to use the cycle counter in DEC
OSF? i know there is a cycle counter for the CPU but i can't locate the
instruction to use.
