With a setup of two TZ89 units running VMS backup Restores at a 65k
xfer rate ( Used 65k to test why a application using 65k always fails with
the same error if both drives are in use at the same time ),
One unit always comes up with CRC errors - Different unit each time .
The units are both New , cleaned , and no device errors occur .
Is there a problem with my firmware levels ? - See below :
Machine : 5.1-30
TZ89 Microcode : 1837
alpha bios : 5.64-1
pfio : 3.1
srm : 5.1-30
zip : a315
kzpsa-fw : a11
Or is there a known problem using a dual setup like this with 65k xfer rate
?
Or is it my machine that just can not cope ?
Or does each one have to have a separate SCSI controller ?
