Dear Managers
I was reading through the V4.0E release notes this morning and I noticed
that it states that when setting up secondary swap volumes they must be
in the rootdg disk group.
I have configured, on a V4.0D system, secondary mirrored swap volumes in
a disk group other than rootdg.
Can anyone tell me the implications of doing this, could it cause
problems ? I do get strange messages at boot time when the system is
looking for crash dumps.
It is interesting that this requirement is mentioned in the V4.0E
release notes but I have not found it in the V4.0D LSM manual.
