Hi,
I'm hopeing that someone has come across this problem.
Platform OSF4.0c (Alpha 4000)
Oracle 8.0.3
Oracle WebServer 3.0.0
I've installed Webserver in it's own ORACLE_HOME area on our OSF box.
The install worked ok, and the WRB & admin listener started fine.
But when i now try to stop either the wrb or admin listener i get the
following:
55 barra.jcu.edu.au:/oracle/web/ows/3.0/bin % owsctl stop admin
owsctl: Error:
/oracle/web/ows/3.0/admin/ows//oracle/admin/ows/jcu/wrb/config/.omnaddr
doesn't exist or not readable.
owsctl: Error: You must save the OMN_ADDR (e.g. UDP:wchan-sun:10000) in
/oracle/web/ows/3.0/admin/ows//oracle/admin/ows/jcu/wrb/config/.omnaddr
Does anyone know where it gets the path from as the '//' is definitely not
correct.
Any help greatly appreciated.
