HI Folks !
the following strange problem happens
Systems: 7 nearly brandnew PWS 433au with decunix 4.0c & the jumbo patch
from december installed ( all running for about a month )
- at boot time or at shutdown the following message appears
once and i think generated by vmunix
*** no timer interrupts on CPU 0 ***
... i saw this on 7 different pws433au from two different shippings
  ( i think )
- one of this machine happens to crash and don't want to boot any
more - after changing the main board of THIS ONE everything is ok
  the crash looked like:
  ..........................................................................
  ...........start crash after boot_logging.................................
security configuration set to default (BASE).
  Successful SIA initialization
  Clearing temporary files
  Unlocking ptys
  halted CPU 0
  halt code = 7
machine check while in PAL mode
  PC = 18400
*** no timer interrupts on CPU 0 ***
  CPU 0 restarting
CP - RESTORE_TERM routine to be called
  CP - RESTORE_TERM exited with hlt_req = 0, r0 = fffffc00.00922000
  halted CPU 0
  halt code = 0
  PC = fffffc0000505588
  >>>
  ...........end crash after boot_logging.................................
  ..........................................................................
- today this happens ( on a machine with previously timmer interrupts
  messages):
the machine is still up but the clock won't change
---> uptime or date will always have the same output ( from some days ago )
the only way to login is via console.
I wonder if someone else has this Problem or found a solution ...
... to change all the main boards ?
Any hints / I'll summarize
Rainer
