I asked:
        -----------------
I am trying to install DU 4.0D on a Personal Workstation au-series.
I scrubbed the factory install as I wanted more swap and a separate
var partition (maybe a bad move in hindsight)...
It has a powerstorm graphics card, 4D40T, and just before it
installs the subsets, etc it tells me that I need a graphics
driver and asks for the location of the CD/floppy. I have tried
giving it the OS cd, the additional subsets CD, a floppy to no
avail. What it doesnt do is tell me it didnt find a driver, but
instead it just continues the install and finishes. The monitor
comes up vga, and big, etc. So I done this install about 4 times,
unsuccessfully. ;-(
Reading various docs, I think I have to install the OPEN3D subsets
or something similar, however, on the additional subsets CD, I
dont seem to be able to do a setld, all i see is a index.html file.
I cannot fire up netscape as it gives me a segmentation fault and
dumps core, presumably that's due to the fact I dont have a suitable
driver to get it going.
So, would be grateful if someone could point me to information
on how I can get the drivers installed for this card, the disks
and CD I received all relate to drivers for NT which I dont think
will run on DU.
many thanks
Sophia

Responses:
Thanks to all who responded.
All I had to do was to give the setld command correctly
which is
setld -l .
in the kit directory from the Associated Products CD II.
Thanks again
