[Q] 5.3 firmware and the DEGPA-SA

My intentions are to add a DEGPA-SA card to an AS8400 server. According to
the release notes, I need the 5.3 firmware loaded to do this. I have two
questions:

1 - What 5.3 firmware gotchas are out there for the AS8400? (I haven't
installed it anywhere yet)
2 - What experiences / problems have you all had with the DEGPA-SA?
