I have a lone Solaris box I need to back up. My only tape device is on
an AS2100 running 4.0E. When I try to dump across the net, I get:
   # ufsdump 0f osfsvr:/dev/nrmt0h /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0
     DUMP: Writing 62 Kilobyte records
     DUMP: Date of this level 0 dump: Thu Feb 04 10:32:21 1999
     DUMP: Date of last level 0 dump: the epoch
     DUMP: Dumping /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0 (blacks:/) to osfsvr:/dev/nrmt0h.
     DUMP: Mapping (Pass I) [regular files]
     DUMP: Mapping (Pass II) [directories]
     DUMP: Estimated 4064810 blocks (1984.77MB).
     DUMP: SIGSEGV()  ABORTING!
     DUMP: Process 27884 killed by signal 6: Abort
Tar works fine between the same hosts. Has anyone made this work?
