basically everybody suggested one or two of the following:
>	1.  Boot genvmunix
>	2.  Mount the local file systems.
>	3.  Run doconfig to build a new configuration file and kernel
>	4.  Copy the new kernel to the root and reboot.
or
>	1.  Boot genvmunix

>	3.  Do a sizer -n <filename>, this creates a temporary config 
>file in /tmp.
>	4.  Then compare the new config to the original config and 
>then you will see
>	    exactly what the changes were / modify your kernel 
>config, build the new
>	    kernel w/ doconfig -c HOSTNAME, mv it to the root and reboot
