Hi gurus,
we are trying to setup Netscape FastTrackServer 3.01
on a dpws600au running TRU64 4.0e.
Installation procedure went all right and after starting
the server (www3.tsl.uu.se) it works all right for a couple of hundred
requests untill I get lots of errors of the following type:
[10/Sep/1999:08:26:34] warning: for host 195.84.204.130 trying to GET
/thep/tengblad/fpdd/globalenergi/moment2/NFR-G.html,
send-file reports: error opening buffer from
/home/thep0/www/tengblad/fpdd/globalenergi/moment2/NFR-G.html
(IO timeout error)
while the user gets the message that access is forbidden.
It seems as if the server then distributes the requested page
with about 50-75% probability with no clear pattern in the pages that
become (and stay) forbidden.
Has anybody experienced similar problems?
I'm both new to this list and to the business of computer
administration. So feel free to point me to a more
approriate list for such questions.
