We have a file system where we store most of the user utilities as
well as
commecial programs. The file system is exported to all the user
machines.
Iam having 3 files with the following names in /etc directory
   exports.ase with 0 bytes
   exports.ase.machineA with 556 bytes
   exports.ase.machineB with 193 bytes
In /etc/exports Iam having an entry
  .INCLUDE exports.ase
Whenever we have a network problem the users get the following message
on their terminal:
vmunix: NFS3 RFS3_FSSTAT failed for server servername: RPC:Timed out
The users have to wait till I reboot the file server. On the server I
see the
   file system mounted.
How I have to export/mount this file system so that the users can
still work on their machines(provided they are not using the server file
system)?
  With best regards,
    Kumar
