I'm having troubles installing a disk (into a BA356 pedestal) I had two disk in the pedestal originally. Nevertheless, I stuck the third disk in the pedestal & ran MAKEDEV. I then proceeded to locate an entry in the /etc/disktab file, to use for a disk label.....(I didn't see anything that had similar identification.....so I shut things down, looked for additional information on the drive, plugged things up & re-booted) When the box came back up the other disk, originally in the pedestal, had dirty file systems. Can some one offer an explanation / remedy? Thanks.
