Accounts disabled - can't get in

            I am out of the office and I have a weird one back at work.
            Tru64 box running 4.0d has suddenly stopped allowing ftp or
            telnet access.

            I have tried from two accounts, there are only three on the
            system and one of them is root which I have set for no
            remote access. The system lets you put in username and
            password then says:

            Account is disabled -- See Account Administrator.



            Any ideas why these accounts would suddenly be disabled?
