I'm trying to install GNU C 2.95 on a DS20 running Tru64 5.0
The configure appears to work ok, but the install fails at
the point where it tries to link the compiler, complaining about
an unresolved reference to ASM_FILE_START.
Anyone else run into this and figured out how to get around it?
(yes, I realize the Compaq C compiler is probably better, but the
faculty are used to using GNU C and would like to have it available
also ).
