Hello...
I think I may have a workaround for my problem where 5.0a nis/nfs clients
deny access to nfs mounted user home directories. I had updated this post
last week saying that if I waited 2-5 minutes, the problem went away. That's
not really true, as it does go back to an error state later.
Regardless, after a suggestion from Compaq, I tried changing the fstab
mount option from nfsv3 (default) to nfsv2, and everything now works just
fine. Not sure what type of performance / bug hit I'll take from this,
but at least it works for now.

I will update this posting if I get a better fix from Compaq.
