Thanks to Pieter de Gaaij for the quick response and to the people from
COMPAQ for making sure that my fears became true. Also I would like to tell
to Dr. Tom Blinn that I do read the manuals.

I have read something like this in the release notes of Tru64 Unix
5.1 Most of
the System V Utilities will return in the next 5.X versions.
However - So told Compaq Support - there are no plans to bring back
the FMLI
        utilities.

FMLI is not part of the V5.1 effort. SUIT is recommended as a
replacement for FMLI but it will not run existing FMLI programs. SUIT
stands for "SysMan User Interface Toolkit" and is based on tcl/tk.
