Original question:
We have a HP LaserJet 5Si printer attached to the network with JetDirect and
I want to print text files from TRU64. What need I to write into the
/etc/printcap file?
My printcap file looks :
hp| hp5l | Network printer on Print server:\
                 :lp=:\
                 :sd=/assy/usr/spool/hp5l:\
                 :lf=/assy/usr/spool/hp5l/log:\
                 :rm=hp5l:\
                 :of=/usr/lbin/u2d:\
                 :ff=\r\f:\
                 :sh=:\
                 :rp=lp1:
With this printcap we can't print documents. What is wrong?
Solution:
rp=text:\
Thank you.
