Dear Admins,
Our problem on a cluster (V5.1 PK3) was solved by a cluster shutdown. 
Compaq field support had applied the patch via rolling upgrade, and 
we have not made a cluster shutdown since.  A shutdown of a member 
did not solve the problem.  Then Compaq made a cluster shutdown as 
a last resort.
