Ok...I finally fixed it. I talked to Compaq, and they were a bit less than helpful, but then I came back and read Guy Draper's email. He simply suggested running the lan_config commands manually. Well I did, and that answered all my questions. It said "function not implemented". Then I thought about it--it's configured with NetRAIN, so the ee devices wouldn't need changing...it would be the nr0 device. So I did a lan_config -i nr0 -s 100 -x 1 and checked how it was running...and both ee cards were in Full Duplex 100!!! I was so happy. anyway, I hope this fixes my network problems. =) Thanks for all the replies everybody.
