The Scenario
One of our clients is running Sybase ASE 11..9.2.4. patch ebs9396 on Tru64
Unix version 4.0F. Prior to this the client used to run on the same version
but on patch ebs8496.
The Unix then was 4.0E .
Same kernel parameters.
The Problem
Ever since the upgrade application transactions are taking half the time
than they used to.
