SUMMARY: non-executable stack in 5.1a?

Thanks to Martin Moore and Jan Mark Holzer for quick replies.
The non-executable stack is configured by default in (at least) 5.1a.
It is set with an option configurable via sysconfig:

vm:
        executable_stack = 0 (disallowed)

There is info in the man page for sys_attrs_proc.

I do not know the status of this parameter in 5.0*.
