Yeah I know it sounds bad, but I'm trying to telnet into a system in vt52
terminal mode with a Tru64 UNIX box through a telnet proxy on a Windows
system. I have posted this a couple times and this will be my last e-mail
about it, but its driving me crazy! Folks have sent the reply that I need to
set my TERM variable, and I have done this (tried vt100 and vt52). The
telnet proxy works with other Windows machines, but when I use the UNIX box,
the new line and tab characters are apparently not understood, b/c while I
can get in and can see what I'm looking for, it doesn't look like a menu, as
it should. I have tried 3 telnet proxies, they all do the same thing. Any
ideas?
