Related to my last question -- Aparently the serial number that
somebody wrote down for this system is just a serial number from
somewhere on some component in the rack. I need to call the data
center and have somebody there look for a serial number before
compaq (HP) will open the call. Can anybody describe where I might
find that in such a way that a tape changer at the data center
will understand when I relay it over the phone? It's been about
8 months since I last stood near these machines so I can't really
describe anything off hand to them.
