Problem viewing CDE on Flatscreen Monitor

We are running Tru64 Version 5.0 (Rev 910) and have hooked up a Samsung
SyncMaster 151s 15" flatscreen monitor. When we try to access the CDE the monitor
tells us that the video mode is not supported.

The flatscreen works fine with Tru64 Version 4.0D (Rev 878) to view the CDE. Any
suggestions would be helpful.
