Examing my ES40 today I noticed while using top that there were two
gzip processes that were constantly near 100 % . I know why they are
running and decided to check how they where effecting the system using
monitor. I noticed that the CPU percentages had very high nice vaules, 2
near 100 % the others 100- <user percentage>. Leaving the system with low
idle. Is the system working too hard moving around the priorites of the
processes?
The system is an ES40 (4 CPU, 8 GB ram machine) Trucluster 5.1 patch kit
